Update on public information meetings on the continuation of the .5% county sales tax

Martin Ryan, Chair of the Finance, Personnel and Economic Development Committee, along with committee members and Fond du Lac County Executive Allen Buechel, will hold public information meetings to discuss the continuation of the .5% county sales tax which is due to sunset December 31, 2021. During these meetings, the public will receive information regarding the impact the sales tax has had on county services since it began in 2010, and the projected impact for the future, if it is continued. The public will be invited to provide feedback during these meetings.
The dates for the remaining two meetings are:
Wednesday, December 5, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Ripon City Building located at 100 Jackson Street in Ripon.
Monday, December 17, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the City/County Government Center, Rooms F, G, and H, located at 160 S. Macy Street in Fond du Lac.
Meetings were previously held in Campbellsport and Waupun.
