The Child Support Agency can assist you in enforcing your child support obligation.
The Child Support Agency monitors payments for all cases that have been automatically referred due to receipt of public assistance and all cases where one of the parties has applied for services.
When there have been no payments for at least 30 days and the payer is capable of working and paying the obligation, the Child Support Agency may send a letter to the payer requesting information about job status. A second letter will be sent if there is no response. The Child Support Agency may bring cases before the court and request orders requiring participation in work search programs, or the agency may bring a case before the court to request sanctions for nonpayment.
