Fond du Lac County Health Department responds to human health hazard complaints as required by Wisconsin State Statute 251.05 (2) (a).

 What is a human health hazard?

A human health hazard is defined as a substance, activity or condition that is known to have the potential to cause acute or chronic illness or death if exposure to the substance, activity or condition is not ended.

 What happens if a human health hazard is found?

If a human health hazard is found, the owner of the property will be ordered to remove the human health hazard within 30 days of written notice.
