What is Open Enrollment? 

In accordance with the Affordable Care Act, Fond du Lac County is conducting an "Open Enrollment" period in which eligible employees may enroll or waive Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, along with a Flexible Spending Account, for the 2019 plan year.

Open Enrollment packets were sent out to all benefit eligible employees on October 19, 2018.

What do I need to do?

Eligible employees must complete and return the yellow Open Enrollment Form found in your packet by November 16, 2018. On the form, indicate if you plan to enroll or waive coverage for each insurance option. Selections indicated on the form will take effect as of January 1, 2019.

If you choose to enroll in a specific insurance coverage you do not currently have, you must fill out the corresponding enrollment form:

Flexible Spending Accounts

This tax-free account allows you to set aside a specific dollar amount through payroll deduction in which you can reimburse medical and/or dependent care expenses in 2019. The maximum amount you can elect is $2,700 for medical expenses and $5,000 for dependent care.
