Fond du Lac County maintains 6 recreational trails which total approximately 50 miles which provides opportunities for hiking, bicycling, walking, nature watching, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. One of the overall goals of the County’s trail program is to interconnect these linear recreation facilities with parks across the County. The location of these trails and their connection to one another can be viewed on the following County Trail Map. The basis for the maintenance and development of these trail facilities is documented in the county’s adopted Outdoor Recreation and Open Space Plan for Fond du Lac County 2006-2010.
