Snowmobiling
Fond du Lac County’s snowmobile trail system consists of approximately 297.3 miles of groomed snowmobile trails on privately owned land. Of this 297.3 miles approximately 50 miles is located on abandon railroad corridors. The County’s role in most of the system consists of applying for and administering annual DNR snowmobile grants, ensuring compliance with State regulations and guidelines, and planning improvements. These state funded trails crisscross Fond du Lac County establishing a network of snowmobile trails for users to enjoy.
Beginning July 1, 2015, an annual Wisconsin Trail Pass is required for snowmobiles. Click here for more information.
