Elected Officials

Patricia Kraus was elected to the office of the Register of Deeds in November of 2004 and sworn to the office in January of 2005. She is currently on her second term in office. Previously to being elected Register of Deeds, she started her employment with Fond du Lac County in the Clerk of Courts Office in October of 1989. She accepted a position in the Register of Deeds Office in January of 1992. She became deputy Register of Deeds in January 2001. She is a charter member of the Wisconsin County Constitutional Officers, serves on the Fond du Lac County Land Records Committee and is in her second year as district chairperson for the Wisconsin Register of Deeds Association.
