1. Call meeting to order.
2. Approve minutes of the July 23, 2018, meeting.
Motion (Tiry/Olm) to approve the minutes. Motion carried.
3. Members of the public who wish to address the committee on specific agenda items must register their requests at this time, with such comments subject to the reasonable control of the committee chair, as set forth in “Robert’s Rules of Order.”
4. Financial report.
The ADRC Expenses and Budget reports were presented, “Actual Thru 12/31/2017” and “Actual Thru 7/31/2018.” Rick Gedemer plans to attend the next meeting to discuss these reports with the committee.
5. Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) report.
b. Mary Jo Neumann will be coordinating classes for Prevention Services in 2019. She is a newer employee at ADRC, working 10 hours a week.
c. The Falls Prevention Awareness Day event was held on Sept. 21 at MPTC. There was a good turnout, and it received a lot of good reviews.
d. The Care Giving Conference will be held on Sept. 27 at the Holiday Inn Conference Center, Fond du Lac, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Ms. Tiry, Ms. Olm and Ms. Geiger will attend the conference.
e. The Waupun Senior Expo will also be held on Sept. 27.
f. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be held on Oct. 6. Ms. Tryon will be receiving an orange flower at the walk recognizing her advocacy.
The SAMS Agency Call Report was distributed. The number of calls made to ADRC continues to increase from past years.
Motion (Olm/Tiry) to receive the ADRC report and place on file. Motion carried.
6. Future agenda items.
Future agenda items include a visit by Mr. Gedemer to discuss the ADRC budget. Also, Ms. Neumann will visit at one of the 2019 meetings.
7. Meeting dates for 2018.
A meeting will be held at 4 p.m. on Nov. 26.
