1. Call meeting to order.
2. Approve minutes of the March 25, 2019, meeting.
Motion (Tiry/Olm) to approve the minutes. Motion carried.
3. Members of the public who wish to address the board on specific agenda items must register their requests at this time, with such comments subject to the reasonable control of the board chair, as set forth in “Robert’s Rules of Order.”
There was no public comment.
4. Financial report
Jill Triatik, accounting manager for the Department of Social Services, presented the ADRC Expenses and Budget Reports for “Actual thru 1/1/19” and “Actual thru 3/31/19.” Motion (Meyer/Tiry) to accept the ADRC financial report. Motion carried.
5. Aging and Disability Resource Center report.
Sandy Tryon reported on ADRC services, prevention services, ADRC contract proposals, and new staff hire. Ms. Tryon and some of her staff will be attending an Alzheimer’s Conference from May 20-21 in Wisconsin Dells. The ADRC of Fond du Lac County 2019 Official Resource Directory was distributed.
The Guardianship Training held May 2 was very successful. Also, the Senior Expo held May 7 was well received, having 221 attendees and 50 vendors. Both programs were held at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds Expo Center.
Two other free senior expos offered to the public by the Senior Expo Council will be held:
May 15 – 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Wayland Academy Field House, Beaver Dam
Oct. 3 – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Central Wisconsin Christian School, Waupun
It's planned that Stepping On workshops will be held during the year.
Motion (Tiry/Olm) to receive the ADRC report and place on file. Motion carried.
6. Future agenda items.
Future agenda items include the Alzheimer’s Conference in September.
7. Meeting dates for 2019.
Meetings will be held at 4 p.m. on July 22, Sept. 23 and Nov. 25.
