Fond du Lac County offers its residents a one of a kind dental program. 

The Save a Smile Children’s Dental Program provides preventative and restorative dental services for Fond du Lac county residents, ages 18 and under, with Medical Assistance only. 

The Save a Smile Adult Program assists only with URGENT dental needs.  Adults on Medical Assistance or that meet a specified income level may be eligible for assistance.  It does not cover root canals, crowns, partials or dentures. THE ADULT PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY ON HOLD - as of 5/18/2026. 

A dental screening by appointment is required in the health department.  Patients will then be referred to a local dental office for treatment.  Please call 920-929-3090 to schedule an appointment with the Save a Smile Dental Program.
