WIC Farmers Market Program

 Summer 2025 

The WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program will start on July 1 and run through October 31, 2025. The benefit amount will be $25 total per participant for 2025, issued as five $5 checks.  

The WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program:

• Provides WIC participants with vouchers to purchase locally-grown fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs at farmers’ markets.

•  Provides WIC participants with nutrition education and the resources to encourage the consumption of fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs.

• Increases the awareness and utilization of farmers markets.

• Benefit is available to each eligible participant in WIC families starting June 1st.
