Group Therapy at HCC
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
We offer specialized group therapy programs to help individuals develop healthier coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and build more fulfilling relationships.
DBT is an evidence-based therapy that helps individuals manage intense emotions, reduce self-destructive behaviors, and improve interpersonal effectiveness. Our DBT Skills Group focuses on teaching practical tools across four key areas:
- Mindfulness
- Emotion Regulation
- Distress Tolerance
- Interpersonal Effectiveness
This group is especially helpful for individuals struggling with mood instability, impulsivity, or difficulty in relationships. Participants learn skills to stay present, manage overwhelming emotions, and communicate more effectively.
Anger Management Group
Our Anger Management Group provides education and support for individuals who want to better understand and manage their anger. Through guided sessions, participants learn to:
- Recognize triggers and early signs of anger
- Use healthy coping strategies to de-escalate
- Communicate assertively rather than aggressively
- Build self-awareness and emotional resilience
This group is ideal for anyone who feels that anger is interfering with their relationships, work, or daily life.
All groups are led by licensed mental health professionals and are open to adults from all walks of life. Whether you're new to therapy or looking to deepen your current work, our group programs offer a compassionate space to grow and heal—together.
