Parks & Trails
Fond du Lac County currently maintains 14 recreational facilities totaling approximately 928 acres of land as well as 6 recreational trails totaling approximately 50 miles. These recreational facilities are developed and maintained by the Planning and Parks Department and are spread across the county.
Every 5 years the Land Information Department drafts an update to our 5-year Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP). The plan is utilized to guide capital improvements, long-term maintenance needs, property acquisitions, and future amenities for our parks and trails.
The 2025-2029 CORP was approved at the County Board of Supervisors meeting on February 11, 2025.
