If you would like to donate funds to assist veterans and their dependents, we are able to accept donations for the following programs:
1. Veterans Commission Program (Emergency Assistance)- This program is designed to support Veterans within Fond du Lac County that have been a resident for 90 or more days still actively serving or have a honorable discharge from service that are experiencing an unexpected emergency that has caused a financial hardship. We assist with helping these Veterans with direct support and resources for continued support. Every dollar of this program stays within Fond du Lac County.
2. Veteran Transportation Program- Fond du Lac County is one of very few counties that provides transportation for Veterans to get from their home to their VA medical appointments and back free of charge. The county funds all transportation costs but relies on donations to fund the cost of the vehicles.

We are currently in the process of remodeling Veterans Park and are seeking assistance through the community to keep this a community project to show our Veterans that we ALL support them and what they have done. The County has set aside $400,000 for this project and we would like to raise an additional $200,000 to make this park a true landmark in Fond du Lac County. If you would like to donate to this project you can donate online, by mail or in person with the Fond du Lac Area Foundation. Link to donate.
